Situated on the edge of Sherwood Forest and surrounded by cycling adventure trails within peaceful countryside, our location provides easy access to a range of trails suitable for all ages and abilities.

1. Sherwood Pines Forest Park
Just a 10-minute drive from Bridleways, Sherwood Pines is one of the most popular cycling destinations in the area. With trails ranging from family-friendly routes to more adventurous mountain biking tracks, there is something for everyone. Cycle hire is available on site, making it easy for guests who may not have brought their own bikes.
2. Clumber Park
Managed by the National Trust. Clumber Park offers over 20 miles of cycle paths that wind through beautiful parkland, woodland, and around the lake. It’s an ideal choice for a leisurely day out with a picnic. There are also cafés and a visitor centre to explore.
3. Vicar Water Country Park
Located close to Bridleways, this smaller park is perfect for a relaxed ride. With woodland trails, open spaces, and a lovely lake at its heart. Vicar Water offers a quieter alternative to the larger parks.
4. The National Cycle Network (Route 6)
Route 6 of the National Cycle Network passes near Mansfield. The route provides a more extensive path for those wanting to venture further afield. This well-marked route connects a number of towns and natural areas, giving cyclists the chance to experience more of Nottinghamshire at their own pace. I’ll Definitely Be Coming Back
I was warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to my room. Which was lovely. Nice and quiet. I had a lovely freshly made filter coffee each morning. Really enjoyed the stay.

We Will Return.
After a lovely warm welcome, we were shown to a bright spacious comfortable room. I particularly liked the lovely comfy sofa. The breakfast menu was varied and plentiful.
