Sherwood Forest
A visit to Sherwood is an experience that will bring magic to all. Daily dog walkers, morning joggers, epic adventurers young and old, nature lovers and Robin Hood fans will find plenty to do and to love.
Sherwood Pines

Come and explore one of the Midland’s most well-known forests! With activity trails, play areas, bike hire, wild running and mountain biking trails, Sherwood Pines will set the scene for a great day out for all.
Soar through the trees on Go Ape’s famous zip wires and If you are feeling a bit peckish after adventuring around the forest, drop in to the Sherwood Pines Café for a range of locally sourced snacks.
Top off your trip with an overnight stay! Forest Holidays have a selection of stunning cabins located in the heart of the forest, perfect if you are looking to escape the everyday. Sherwood Pines Campsite also provides the perfect spot to stay in the great outdoors.
Clumber Park
There’s so much to see and do at Clumber Park. The 3,800 acres of parkland provide the perfect backdrop for relaxing, exploring and spending time together. Find out more about the best places to visit with little ones, plan your walks or bike rides and discover the walled kitchen garden, home to the National rhubarb collection.
There’s something on offer for children of every age at Clumber Park. Have fun den building in the woodland and enjoy climbing, hiding and exploring in the hidden Woodland Play Park.
Look out for swans, geese, rabbits and squirrels as you explore the Pleasure Grounds and spend some quiet time in the busy Bird Hide watching a variety of birds.

Thoresby Park is a beautiful country estate located in the heart of Nottinghamshire, England. The park has been in the Pierrepont Family for over 400 years and is home to a stunning 17th-century mansion, a world-renowned art collection, and over 1,000 acres of parkland.

The Heights of Abraham
Country park and famous show caverns set in 60 acres of woodland and reached by cable car over deep limestone gorge in the Peak District.

I’ll Definitely Be Coming Back
I was warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to my room. Which was lovely. Nice and quiet. I had a lovely freshly made filter coffee each morning. Really enjoyed the stay.

Lovely Guest House.
Bridleways was friendly and the hosts very welcoming. My room was cosy and had everything I could possibly require. Breakfast was perfect and an ideal location for exploring.

Exceptional Accommodation.
We always stay when visiting the area and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Emyr and Tracey provide the warmest of welcomes and the standard of service is second to none.

We Will Return.
After a lovely warm welcome, we were shown to a bright spacious comfortable room. I particularly liked the lovely comfy sofa. The breakfast menu was varied and plentiful.
